The jungle has called to me for as long as I can remember, even as a little girl. I don't know where that love came from, but I followed it - to Peru, Colombia, Brazil, and beyond. Along the way, I felt a special connection to Peru. My son was even born in Cusco.

I've always wondered how I could help protect the rainforest that has given me so much. How could I do my part to preserve this incredible ecosystem while also building a life and making a living?

Long before I ever set foot in the rainforest, I encountered shamanic medicinal plants that changed my life. Later, when I experienced the jungle for myself, I felt life there with such depth and intensity that I knew I wanted to share some of that gift with others.

That's where Ecstatic Silence was born - another calling in my life.

The mission of Ecstatic Silence is to create and offer exceptional products connected to the rainforest while helping protect the ecosystems they come from. We source from healthy agroforestry systems and responsibly managed natural ecosystems, working with producers whose practices support the forest rather than contribute to its destruction.

In our products, you can feel something of the strength and vitality of the Peruvian rainforest and the traditions of the people who live there.
